Simple CV Format for Freshers (Word)
A one-page Word CV for BS, BBA, BCom or FSc/ICS graduates with little or no work experience. Education and Final Year Project come first.
Your story. Your ambition.
Write your CV in a clean, single-column layout that applicant tracking systems can read, then download it as an editable Word (.docx) file or save it as a PDF. Start from a template for Pakistan, India, the Gulf or Canada. Your details stay in your own browser.
How it works
Choose a template for your country or profession. Each one has the sections recruiters there expect, with short prompts in [brackets].
See the CV update as you type. The built-in checklist flags missing contact details, leftover placeholders and weak sections.
Get an editable Word file, save as PDF from the print dialog, or copy plain text into job portals like Rozee, Naukri or LinkedIn.

Fresher CV help
Put your education first and use projects instead of job history. Keep it to one page: contact details, a 2–3 line career objective, your degree with CGPA or marks, your Final Year Project or class projects, internships, volunteering or part-time work, then skills, certificates and languages. Start each point with an action verb and include only true details.
A career objective is 2–3 lines at the top of a fresher CV. Name the job you want, your degree, and two or three skills that match the job. Change it for every application instead of using one generic line.
Example
Recent BBA graduate from [university] looking for a junior marketing role in [city]. Skilled in social media content, Excel reporting and customer communication, with practical experience from an internship at [company].
A declaration is a one-line statement at the end of the CV confirming the information is true. It is common in India and in some government and Pakistani applications. Many private and international employers do not expect it, so add it only if the job form or employer asks for it.
Example
I hereby declare that the information given above is true and correct to the best of my knowledge. Place: [City] Date: [DD/MM/YYYY]
Show strengths on your CV through proof, not adjectives: a skill plus where you used it. Do not list weaknesses on a CV — prepare one for the interview instead: a real, minor weakness and what you are doing to improve it.
Example
Strength (CV): "Data analysis — cleaned and analysed survey data of [number] students in Excel for my Final Year Project." Weakness (interview): "I used to take on too many tasks at once; now I plan my week and agree priorities with my team first."
Add hobbies only if they are specific or show a useful skill, and keep it to one line. Good examples: volunteering with a named organisation, a debating or sports team role, coding or design side projects, writing a blog, or tutoring. Leave out generic items such as watching movies or travelling, and skip the section if your CV is already full.
Questions
Yes. Every template on this site downloads as an editable Word (.docx) file with one click — no account, email or payment, and no watermark. You can also fill it in online and download it as Word, PDF or plain text.
Yes. Download the Word (.docx) file, upload it to Google Drive and open it with Google Docs. The templates use one column, standard fonts and no tables, so the layout stays the same. You can then edit and share it from Google Docs.
Only in your own browser. The builder saves your draft locally on your device so you can come back to it; your CV details are not sent to our server. Use "Clear draft" to remove it, especially on a shared computer.
No tool can guarantee that, because every employer configures its ATS differently. What helps is what the builder does: a single-column layout, real text instead of images, standard section headings and no tables. Matching your skills and wording to the job advert matters most.
It depends on the country. Many Gulf and some Pakistani employers expect nationality, visa status and sometimes a photo. Canadian, US and UK employers usually do not want a photo, date of birth or marital status. The builder lets you add or hide a photo; it stays in your browser. Never put your full CNIC or passport number on a CV you upload publicly.
Click "Print / Save PDF" in the builder and choose "Save as PDF" as the printer. On phones, use the share or print option of your browser.
Pick a template and have a clean, editable CV in front of you in minutes.
